Specialist Veterinary Dentist – BVSc (Hons) MANZCVS (Small Animal Dentistry and Oral Surgery) Diplomate, American Veterinary Dental College™
Hi, I’m Dr Bec Tucker, and my journey into veterinary dentistry has been unexpected yet incredibly fulfilling. In fact, dentistry wasn’t on my radar at all when I graduated with a BVSc (Hons) from the University of Sydney in 2007. I was fortunate to meet veterinarians who had found their passion for dentistry, and their encouragement and enthusiasm shifted my perspective. Through continuing education lectures and workshops, I went from not fancying dentistry and oral surgery to genuinely loving it.
“Our journey into veterinary dental care has grown into a genuine passion over time.”
Aaron Forsayeth
BVSc (Hons) MACVSc (Veterinary Dentistry)
Hi, I’m Dr Aaron Forsayeth, and I’ve had quite the journey in veterinary medicine. Originally, I never imagined myself pursuing dentistry.
I spent my initial years in general practice until a chance meeting with Dr Gary Wilson changed my career path. He inspired me to explore veterinary dentistry, and together, we co-founded Advanced Animal Dentistry in 2006. It’s ironic, considering I used to dread dental procedures, but with the right knowledge and skills, it became a passion that I absolutely love to this day.
Brylliana
Hi, I’m Bryll. My journey with animals began at 15, volunteering at a cat welfare shelter in Melbourne. This soon turned into a job as an animal attendant.
By the age of 18, I had grown into the role of veterinary nurse, and then moved to work in a general practice with a focus on greyhounds and reproduction.
During this period, in 2011, I completed my Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing.
“Each team member brings experience, compassion and dedication to supporting animal oral health.”
Nicola
Hi, I’m Nicola, and my career in veterinary nursing began somewhat by chance.
I’ve always had some sort of desire to work with animals, but at first, I wasn’t sure exactly what that would look like. I was actually working in hospitality when I saw an opportunity to study veterinary nursing and decided to take the leap. That led me to start work experience at Aspley Veterinary Clinic.
What was meant to be a placement became something much bigger. A rewarding career. And I loved the team, the environment and the chance to learn something new every day.
